Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how ChatBoost, a mobile AI chat client by Muggle Studio, handles information when you use the app and this website.

ChatBoost is built around a bring-your-own-key model. In normal use, you do not need to create a separate ChatBoost account to start using the product.

Information stored on your device

Conversation history, app preferences, and other continuity features are designed to live on your device so you can keep control of your own working context.

If you use device-level backup or restore features, your data may also be handled according to the backup settings and platform rules of your device.

Requests sent to third-party services

When you choose to use model, search, voice, or image features, the requests needed to complete that task are sent to the providers or services you configure inside ChatBoost.

Those providers may process your prompts, files, metadata, or usage under their own policies. You are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy policies of the services you connect.

  • ChatBoost supports provider choice instead of locking you into a single hosted account.
  • Your API keys and provider setup are meant to be controlled by you.
  • Using a provider through ChatBoost does not replace that provider's own privacy terms.

Contact and support information

If you contact Muggle Studio by email, Telegram, or other support channels, we may receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and support context.

We use that information only to respond, troubleshoot, improve reliability, and handle follow-up communication related to your request.

How we use information

  • Provide and improve the ChatBoost app and website.
  • Help you troubleshoot installation, provider setup, and product issues.
  • Maintain basic security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
  • Respond to messages you send to us through public support channels.

Retention and security

We aim to keep the amount of information we directly receive as limited as practical. Support messages and operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle support, security, legal, or product maintenance needs.

No software or transmission method can guarantee absolute security, but we try to design the product so that less sensitive information needs to pass through our own systems in the first place.
